Description
The Securion line of card printers serves the dual purpose of printing and protecting cards, badges or licenses and at the same time, providing them with lamination protection using an innovative patented technology. To meet the increasing standards of card security, Securion features a hi-tech lamination station which applies any film from an extended range of films from basic varnish protection to patches with embedded holograms. The technology not only helps in printing eye-catching cards but also enhances the security quotient considerably through the lamination process. Securion printers are equipped with a dual-sided color printing module which ensures a high quality printing of graphics.
It prints and laminates cards without any potential damage to the cards. It comes with multiple encoding options for magnetic stripes, smart cards or contactless cards. It provides a standard resolution of 300dpi for images. It prints and laminates at a speed of up to 120 single sided cards (YMCK + 1.0mil single-sided patch) and up to 105 cards dual sided (YMCK-K + 1.0 mil single-sided patch) in an hour. The Securion Card Printer comes with standard USB and Ethernet ports and supports the Windows, Linux and the Apple Mac OS operating systems.
